A Roller Coaster Week!

I am confident that this holiday season has been a very blessed time for your family, with all the Christmas events and fellowship  both  at church and at home.  It was unusually eventful for our family this year, and somewhat reminded me of a super fast roller coaster ride, with its breathtaking ups and downs, surges of energy and panic, and the opportunity to tell all about it after it’s over!  We had the privilege this Christmas of having a large number of our family members from out of town  with us for several days, and what a time we had! It was wonderful on Christmas day to have the whole crowd gathered for singing, a reading of the Christmas story, prayer, and of course, the wild opening of gifts!  Those grandkids [and grandparents] get a little carried away sometimes!  On top of all this was a wonderful meal, and leftovers that lasted for several days… Read more…

Hedges Part lll

Continuing to look at hedges that should be in place in our lives, we notice one of our most powerful allies or enemies in a relationship are memories. As a relationship extends in years it becomes more important what memories we take with us because they soon become part of the fabric of the relationship. Good memories help us make it through the difficult times that will inevitably come.
